Studio Analogies is a New York–based architectural design practice founded by Jiageng Guo, working across architecture, interiors, and research. The studio focuses on how architectural integration and circular material culture can shape the future of collective space.

Its work ranges from independent commissions to lead design roles within larger collaborative contexts. Recent projects include 343 W 47th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, The Grilling Hub in Shanghai, and speculative civic proposals such as Collective Housing and the ADAPT Initiative, a research-driven competition integrating architecture and public health discourse.

In parallel, Jiageng Guo has contributed to lead design roles to large-scale institutional and urban projects, including SPARC Kips Bay in New York, an educational campus in Chaohu, and 400-meter mixed-use twin towers in Shenzhen. Across these contexts—from residential to civic campuses and high-rise urban developments—the work maintains a consistent focus on spatial systems, material tectonics, and the integration of architecture, interiors, and identity into a cohesive whole.

Studio Analogies also operates as a design practice and a research platform. Rather than separating built work from speculative inquiry, the studio treats them as reciprocal: built commissions test ideas at a material scale, while research expands architectural questions beyond immediate constraints. This feedback loop informs the work from early conceptual strategies to construction-level coordination.
